Hi there and Happy New Year!
Sadly due to Christmas work insanity progress has been slow on these two blankets this past month…
Saying that I am so close to finishing my Stripy V-Stitch blanket!!! Just a few more edge rows, quite a few ends to deal with and a border and it is finished! It has been an absolute joy to make! I was a little worried as my tension changed a lot and until I was a few rows into the second border sections the ends very definitely didn’t match! It appears to be OK now though. But I do plan on blocking it once finished to make the sides a little straighter!!! When laid out flat it is quite long and narrow but its size is perfect for curling up on the couch. Even unfinished it got used quite a bit this winter as it is so very warm and cosy.
I also made a start on my C2C blanket. I really shouldn’t have as I have way too many other unfinished projects at the moment but I just couldn’t resist the colours anymore. It is so bright in reply life! I’m also loving the dense squishy nature of the C2C stitch. I’m already planning future blanket projects for myself with it!
If any of you want to make the same blanket it’s super easy! I’m using a colour pack designed by Heather from Little Tin Bird bought via Wool Warehouse. All the details regards colour order etc can be found here.
I’m participating in the January link up party hosted Jennifer at Thistlebear. If you haven’t come across it before it is a chance to share your winter craft projects with other crafters on a host blog post. Please do stop by as there are some lovely projects featured!

I always fancied making a v stitch blanket. Yours is beautiful, love the colour and I also love Drops Lima, a lovely yarn (I think you mentioned the yarn in a previous post? Maybe I am going mad). The corner to corner blanket is a cool design, looking forward to seeing the finished blanket.

Hi Francesca, thank you for joining in with my link party. Both of your blankets are beautiful. I have always liked V-stitch and the corner to corner is new to me but really interesting. Lovely colors too.
